WCVM EquineED Talk

As an extension of the popular EquineEd public education series, the WCVM Diverse student group and the WCVM are hosting a presentation exploring some of the traditional connections between Indigenous peoples and horses. 

Claire Thomson, a historian and PhD researcher at the University of Alberta will give a talk titled “Lakota history and horses: connections in southwestern Saskatchewan,” on Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. CST via Zoom. 

This talk is supported by the WCVM Committee on Indigenous Engagement.
